Radon Test

Radon is a radioactive gas found in homes across the country, caused by the breakdown of uranium in soil, water and rock. We capture air samples and provide results via a state-certified lab to determine if the inspected structure falls within acceptable limits.

Wood Destroying Insects

Our inspection for wood-destroying insects and their evidence is the careful visual examination of all accessible areas of a building and the sounding of accessible structural members adjacent to slab areas in contact with masonry walls and other areas particularly susceptible to attack by wood-destroying insects. Evidence includes both present and past activity of wood-destroying insects visible in, on or under a structure, or in or on debris under the structure.

Rental Inspection

A rental inspection benefits both the tenant and the landlord. This report offers a visual diary showing the physical condition of the property at the time of the rental agreement. This can help reduce claims on security deposits at the end of the lease and pick out any potential problems of the property before it becomes and issue.

Irrigation System Inspection

Sprinkler system failures can lead to high water bills and damage to your new home or property. Before you purchase a home with a sprinkler system, have it inspected. Even though most of the sprinkler system is located underground, we will assess the sprinkler operation, including a visible inspection of the controllers, connections, sprinkler head locations, pressure differentials, drains, and sensors.

Detached Structure Inspection

Is there a barn, outbuilding or other detached structure located on the same property as the residence? This inspection helps to evaluate the condition of these structures, ensuring that you're equipped to make a sound purchase decision.

Swimming Pool Inspection

When you purchase a home with a swimming pool, you're buying it "as is". During this inspection we'll ensure that the pump, heater, filter and other key components operate properly. We'll inspect for improper electrical grounding, plumbing leaks and other common issues.

Evaluation Inspection

A visual inspection used when placing an offer on a bank-owned or short-sale home. If a full inspection is requested within six months of the evaluation inspection for the same property, the $199 fee will be deducted.

Consulting Services

Have you not yet decided to move ahead with a full inspection, but you'd like the verbal opinion of a certified inspector? During this session, we'll visually review the residential structure and discuss obvious concerns with you. You can then decide if you wish to proceed with a complete inspection.
